Everday we use many different things which use energy affecting the climate. Today I have had three key examples of this from driving to college to using this computer. By driving to college I have added to the carbon emmisions within our atmosphere I could reduce this by car sharing with other people going to the same place. During my day at college I have used the printers and the computers. These use up energy I do not necessarily need to use. In the future I could reduce the amount of energy I am using by hand writing my assignments rather than typing them up, then printing my work off.

Today is still only the morning and i have used a lot of energy which is worrying. Today i have used energy: by using a computer, a printer and using the hairdryer. i could of reduced thius by handing writing my college work.

after watching the video i agree with the scientist man because i dont think that man is the main cause of global warming because he said that it is all to do with the sun moon and the way in which the earth is. man has a small effect on the world and glbal warming but we are not to blame, global warming is liek a natural disaster it cant be helped.

I am joining in with this course to work alongside a group of young people who are also doing it. I am also interested in knowing more about climate change as I have very little knowledge in this area and would like to develop more groups and raise awareness.
I am a youth worker and have been for 8 years with the Leicestershire County Council. I work at Thurmaston Young Peoples Centre and also East Goscote.
I have one son who is 7 and I live in Nottinghamshire. I play the cornet in a brass band and have been playing for over 30 years. I have four brothers.
I am looking forward to attempting the course and raising awareness of Climate Change.
This is also my first blog.

In a russian news report I have recentlly viewed, the astrophycisist explained that the heatwave was not caused by man, but circulatory systems carrying greenhouse fumes around the world. One way he explained it is that this is caused by the moons phases. I do not agree with this opinion because we are the ones that create the toxic fumes due to are great industrial endeavours, and are in turn, starting the cycle anyway.

Polar ice caps melting. this is one of many effects of global warming. Many things are happening because of Global Warming, and why? Cavemen were burning wood, reducing carbon emmisions. Nowadays, we push things to the limits, using up precious fossil fuels, burning them for our wants not our needs. We may be more advanced then previous generations, but by how much? Man for many years have strived, but this is an all time low. The end of the world we know…

In the Russian fires news clip i think that the astrophysist was wrong and that we as humans are the cause for climate change. If we were more healthy and walked a bit instead of driving everywhere we would cut down on a lot of CO and CO2. I’ve learnt that naturally cold countries like Russia can sufer from wildfires than anything can happen. I’ve also learnt that two people can have completely diffrent veiws on a very serious topic. I think that some people might agree with humans being the cause of climate change because we should look after our planet. However everyone has there own opinion and they might disagree

the video’s are very useful to people who dont know alot about climate change and want to learn more. they are helpful to the people who are more into watching than reading

I agree with the videos but I dont think we should be 2 worked up about it.
