This video makes you think what the world is coming to!!!

We need to stop and act now or we will put ourselves at danger and the people around us. The hurricane Katrina made people suffer, homes were lost and people died. This video tells you how we can reduce carbon emissions and stop this from happening.

At the begging of the video it states reality and tells you what is happening and at the end it tells you all the positive notes.

In bangladesh there has been flooding which floods the entire region, this is bad for the people living there as people have been loosing contact with family and friends and homes etc. The people there are really scared and want it to stop. I think that the richer countries are to blame for climate change as they think they have more money to actually buy products so they are not bothered about saving them.

The carbon emissonc chart shows that the more developed countries such as the US A and the UK have the highetst rate of carbon emission. The less developed countires such as India they work together as a community to actually recylce their resoucres. China is a an advanced country with technology but there is still a lot of peopel living in poverty but they has a lowe carbon emission rate.

Although it is usually the more developed countries the over populated countries also encourage climate change and to the environment. For people living in less developed countries when they know they cannot afford to buy food and they are struggling for surrival i think it is bad if they carry on having kids because it is making the country over populated and they cannot provide for the children and this is not fair.

The most important thing I’ve learnt about climate change is that the richer and more developed countries mainly cause the poblem and they are the ones that dont suffer much from it as it is the less dveloped countries such as Bangladesh who are suffering from floodings at the min.

Today I have watched some interesting videos which make you think about the global warming.  I watched the Sponebob Square pants video and I thought it was good how it was put together because it explains what is happening in simple steps. I think this video is a good way to explain global warming to younger children in a fun and exciting way.

To prevent global warming happening we could all turn off TV’s, lights and plug sockets and stop leaving things on standby as it uses more electricy than needed. Another way to stop global warming is to exercise more and walk to places instead of driving.

Hello :)

My name is Naomi Burton I am 17 years old and I attend South Nottingham College. I am currenty studying Travel & Touism Level 3. I have always been interested in working in the travel industry as i like to travel and experience new things. I think it is important to know aboutr the issues in the world if i wish to travel because I may come across these issues. I dont really know that much about climate change but I try to keep involved with it. We have disscused this matter at college at lot of times. I have seen issuses are on Tv about disaters and just recently there is a disater in Japan. Climate change is promoted in books and movies and online videos on youtube etc, I think this is a good way because people always browse the internet. I do think climate change is a big problem in the world, if people dont change and act for the better things can go terribly wrong. Although i should i dont really discuss this matter with my family and friends and if i do im sure we will be able to come up with something to do for our part for climate change.
